I hurt my head on Saturday. A giant box of negatives, THOUSANDS of negatives, fell from several feet above my short frame onto my head. Upon the box exploding all over my office I noticed an errant black baggie in the mess. I was filled with light when I saw what was in the baggie. A gift to myself it seems. 17 rolls of undeveloped Tri-X film from over 6 years ago. A very different time in my life, one I thought I'd lost memory of during a fire in one of my first apartments. I had suspected these images lost forever. So, to show my thankfulness I will be adding some select sets to my portfolio. I started today with the photo set of my son's birth. There are many more that I can't show you, as their graphic nature might not be right for this particular page. But they are amazing, as I managed to hold my camera during the entire delivery and all. I remeber the doctor thought I was nuts. She was right.
